World Christian Foundations

Theme of DCP

Restoring God’s glory is the theme of this full 32 semester unit program. God is the Lord of history but we are locked in a cosmic struggle with the powers of darkness. Through their studies, students begin to understand God’s plan for reestablishing His glory through “general” and “special” revelation, partnering with humans in defeating the Evil One and restoring Creation through Jesus Christ. The course is broad in scope, covering all of history, many world religions, and exploring several social sciences. Here is a helpful list of the course names and content of the DCP curriculum.

Unique Features

So, how is this different than the World Christian Foundations program as it is used by Northwestern College and William Carey International University? Several aspects of the Degree Completion Program are different, those differences include:

The DCP is not a distance program. While much of the study for this Degree Completion Program can be done at a distance, students are required to meet regularly in a classroom setting to be guided through lessons by a course facilitator.

The DCP is structured differently than the regular WCF curriculum. The WCF Degree Completion program is a sixteen course program that is divided into four Modules, or sections, of four courses each.
